Light of the Stable was recorded and produced by Grammy-winner Jim Scott (Wilco, Tom Petty) and features The Brothers Figaro (Bill Bonk and Phil Parlapiano) and Julie Christensen (Leonard Cohen, Divine Horsemen). Three songs were recorded in Dan Navarro's living room in 1996 for a Fan Club Christmas promo, and three songs in Eric Lowen's living room to complete the full album, in 2001.
