Close behind the introspective offering 'How are you making it look so easy? (Oshie-T),' rEDOLENT's latest single, 'jUST tRYING tO rELAX,' delves into the confusion and chaos of anxiety, vividly portraying a panic attack in first person. Doubling down on their meticulous blend of angular-pop meets electronic, the song weaves a course through ambient loops and idiosyncratic melodies while laying the architecture for frontman Robin Herbert's distinctive conversational flow. In discussing their new single, rEDOLENT describes, ''jUST tRYING tO rELAX' delves into the cycle of losing control to anxiety, uttering unintended words to loved ones, and the subsequent instant regret and apology, with the increasing absurdity as the pattern repeats.'
