Underground legend John Kennedy and his band The New Originals played a farewell show at Marrickville Bowling Club in May 2023. Kennedy was leaving Australia to live in Spain. The set comprised his Urban and Western hits, covers of Australian indie classics from the recent Raining Treasure albums and more recent songs. A special night was captured on Live at The Marrickville Bowl and its a live retrospective of the Kennedy career spanning bands like JFK and the Cuban Crisis and John Kennedys 68 Comeback Special.
