This set joins previous releases from the overarching ‘Collection’ series of special edition products celebrating WAR’s 50+ years of music making. Sharing the same tracklist of newly remastered songs and brand new original artwork from famed illustrator Dave Van Patten, The CD Collection includes five of the band’s early classic albums, recorded after the departure of their former lead-singer Eric Burdon: WAR (1971), All Day Music (1971), The World Is A Ghetto (1972), Deliver The Word (1973), and Why Can’t We Be Friends? (1975). WAR’s signature genre-defying sound and style can be heard throughout this stellar collection.
