Award-winning, chart-topping Platinum artist Curtis Stigers started a weekly Wednesday livestream show called 'Songs From My Kitchen' while sitting home alone with his dogs during the Pandemic. 'I eventually did more than fifty shows', says the Idaho native, who is well known internationally for songs like 'I Wonder Why' and 'You're All That Matters To Me'. 'I learned a lot about myself and I taught myself some new tricks. My guitar playing improved and I learned how to edit video. I learned that dogs don?t give a damn about a live show when the mailman shows up. I learned how to make a pretty good Old Fashioned (Hint: Use rye whiskey). This album is my first attempt to capture some of the unplugged homegrown magic of those shows. I don?t know if there will be a Volume Two but I figured I?d leave the door open.' Including brand-new Stigers originals like 'Good To Know You' or 'I Have Everything', a gently rolling Americana-tune and a somewhat biographical thank-you note to life, it features some of Stiger's long-time all-star companions, including Larry Goldings (Elton John, James Taylor, Beck) on piano, and 'Shaky' Dave Manion on guitar.
