Not only is Henry a Grammy Award winning producer, but also a well-respected and prolific artist in his own right. As a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer, Henry has released numerous successful albums over the years, characterized by their rich fusion of folk, jazz, and blues influences. In 2024, Joe Henry is set to release three of his most acclaimed studio records for the first time on vinyl via earMUSIC, featuring a special selection of unheard bonus tracks as well as intimate demos and live versions from his personal archives. Rounding out the trilogy is Joe Henry's 13th studio album 'Invisible Hour', recorded over four days in July 2013 at Henry's personal studio. It features numerous of his closest musical companions, including The Milk Carton Kids as well as Lisa Hannigan, who co-wrote the title track along with Henry and novelist Colum McCann. The album tells a captivating story about resilience and the redemptive power of love.
