A desperate (or desperately mad) father tries to protect his three grown children from becoming contaminated by the outside world by confining them to a surreal domestic fantasy land. With a tall fence keeping them in, a secret telephone that only their mother knows about and a collection of cassette tapes to make all the bad words good (a zombie' is a little flower'), life for the three siblings is eerily sterile and constant but it doesn't take much to send their world violently out of control. Winner of the Un Certain Regard Award at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
