The album references turn of-the-century underground club music, utilizing breaks, airy pads, and chopped 2000's R&B samples alongside early trance influences and ethereal vocals. This sonic foundation creates an unprecedented dialogue across the album between club-focused elements and melancholic emotions rarely explored in dance music. On the album, human existence is contrasted with stark digital pads and re-sampled drum breaks, bringing on a sense of humanity in dystopia.
