Originally released in 1986, the album was recorded in a woolshed on a Western Australian farming property for $1190. David’s idea for the album was to follow in the mould of Bob Dylan’s ‘The Basement Tapes’ or The Band’s ‘Music From Big Pink’, with the band transplanting themselves to a unique location to get a special sound. But don’t be fooled by the small budget, the strength of the songs is what’s on display here. This album showcases The Triffids' unique blend of folk, rock, and post-punk
